Printed Webcomics

Posted on Saturday, May 05, 2012, under

I am a huge fan of webcomic artists printing their comics and selling them in book form if they're serious about finishing the project someday. I always buy the printed forms of my favorite ones to both support the artist and to have a collection. I especially like collecting the special edition ones that are signed and drawn in. haha So I'd like to share my collection so far if anyone is interested in knowing. C:

There is something I don't like in donating money nor do I have space for posters, t-shrits or other merchandise. I much prefer buying comics but it isn't always possible as I live in Finland and the shipping fees are horrible.

Nevertheless I sometimes gather every intriguing book in one online store and buy em all at once. I wish there was a single online comics store with huge selection that shipped to Europe. As things are I can't buy every book I want, just those that happen to be in the stores selection at the time.

My latest order would have been a lot bigger if the shipping price hadn't skyrocketed after 11 books.

    I currently own:
    Spinnerette 1
    Kagerou 1, 2, 3, 48 and 49
    Zebra Girl 1
    Paper Eleven
    Friends With Boys

Currently in mail waiting to arrive:
    Spinnerette 2
    Fajita 1

I also got a bunch of other indie comic books that I don't think qualify as webcomics.

That's unfortunate about the shipping costs. :[ I know I wouldn't be able to buy all the ones I would want if shipping was outrageous.

I think of all of those the only ones I've heard of Spinnerette and Fajita. Friends With Boys has a really cool art style though!
